Drink tap water to stop global warming

I’m inNYC right now on a trip and nobody it seems drinks tapwater, which I think is nuts because NYC tap water tastes pretty good and I’m sorry but I’m not going to pay $1.50 for a very small bottle of water. I’ve been using my Nalgene bottle which has worked out well but it is still hard to find places to fill it up (Central Park waterfountains are fantastic but most restaraunts look at you like your nuts if you ask them to fill your bottle with tap water.
